What are the pros of a hand blown glass bong?

Including how it hits compared to other thing like blunts joints bowls etc. Also I really need Some help with crazy liquids to put in my bong. Like good types of soda, energy drinks, anything. Hitting it with 4 guys for the first time after thanksgiving and they have never done it and we got 14g of northern lights and my brand new hand blown bong.
