Guild Wars: How do I start a warrior in roleplaying?

I just got GW and I was wondering what the F to do lol. And is there any hidden payment loopholes, like every 2 months like WoW? I’m fairly good at GW since I like roleplaying games. As a level 1 warrior with a wand, I took out a mob of like 6 level 1′s before a 7th one killed me during casting Healing Signet.

No, Guild Wars does not require any payments beyond the initial purchase. The only additional money you can pay (aside from buying equipment off eBay, which they might ban you for) is if you want to buy additional sections fo the game (Factions, Nightfall, Eye to the North).

Guild Wars’ PvE is built largely around questing. In the town you started in, there is likely one person with an exclamation point over their head. Talk to them, and they will give you a quest. After you complete it and return, a few more quests will open up, either with that character or another NPC. These quests will give you money, equipment, and new skills to use.

Also, bear in mind that Guild Wars is based largely on tactics, strategy, and teamwork. Superior numbers in the fight makes a pretty big difference.
